The "Patton Lands" received land use approval (Bylaw C-6370-3006) in December 2006. In 2007 the M.D. of Rockyview implemented a moratorium on granting further land use approvals in the SouthEast Industrial Area Structure Plan pending resolution of certain agreements with the City of Calgary making the "Patton Lands" one of the very few business parks that can be constructed.

This business park is now ready for the purchaser to move forward with the final plan of sub-division.
